We are happy to announce that we will be bringing a work by Cesare Fracanzano to the new edition of the widespread exhibition Panorama Monopoli, a project created by ITALICS Consortium and curated by Vincenzo de Bellis, associate director and curator for the visual arts at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.
“Panorama Monopoli” will be held from Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th September 2022 in Monopoli in the heart of the Apulian Adriatic coast, along the Costa dei Trulli.
The exhibition itinerary of “Panorama Monopoli” embraces the ancient historic center of the Adriatic town and unfolds along a constellation of 20 exhibition spaces, including palaces, churches, squares, votive shrines hidden in the alleys and chiassi, where 70 works from the fifteenth century to today can be found. These include 7 performative works by 60 international artists of different eras, generations and nationalities.
We look forward to seeing you in Monopoli for a new itinerary between art, architecture, antiquity and the contemporary, accompanied by a calendar of in-depth opportunities such as events open to the public, performances and special projects.
“Panorama Monopoli” is created with the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, and the support of the Puglia Region-Department of Tourism, Economy of Culture and Valorisation of the Territory, and the Municipality of Monopoli-Department of Culture and Tourism.
